Job: Engineering Production Planner

Location:Tiverton 

Salary:  Up to £28,000 per annum

Hours : Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (35 hours/week)

Hybrid working available post-training/probation

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing company based in Tiverton, who are looking to recruit an Engineering Production Planner to join their growing team.

As an Engineering Production Planner, you will be responsible for scheduling and planning jobs in line with customer orders and quotations. You'll play a key role in ensuring manufacturing plans are accurate, efficient, and delivered on time.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Plan and schedule systems/products for production across various machine centres.

Generate stock codes, structures, routings, and machining times based on sales order requirements.

Create or annotate engineering drawings as needed to support manufacturing.

Liaise with internal departments, including Sales, to resolve queries and update on lead times.

Identify and request tooling required for production.

Maintain clear and accurate planning documentation.

The Ideal Candidate:

 

Previous experience in a planning office is desirable - full training provided for the right person.

Proficient in AutoCAD, DraftSight, or SolidWorks.

Competent in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ERP systems .

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently.

Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail.

Engineering background or hands-on manufacturing experience is highly beneficial.
