Job Title: Transport Operator - Days 

Location: Mossend, Motherwell 

Job Type: Permanent 

Shift:  Mon-Fri 10 hour shifts roughly starting between 0600-0900 + Saturday AM on rota roughly 1 in 4

Salary: c.£32,000 to £41,000 depending on experience

 What You'll Be Doing:

• Dealing with multiple drivers
• Communicating with ports
• Booking delivery slots for entry in ports
• Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times
• Chasing drivers for etas and making sure they are on time
• Rerouting jobs as and when is needed
• Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system
• Speaking to customers on possible delays advising et

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Transport Operator - Essential
• Confident and clear communicator - written and verbal
• Excellent UK geographical knowledge
• Can work on own initiative
• Quick and efficient problem solving skills
• Organised at all times
• Flexibility to meet the demands of the business
