Job Title: CNC Machinist (Turner) - Precision Engineering

Location: Tewkesbury

Hours: 6am - 2pm

Salary: £38,000 DOE

About the Role:

Are you an experienced CNC Machinist who thrives on precision and complexity? We're looking for a skilled Turner to join a high-performing team, producing top-quality components for the Oil & Gas, Aerospace, and Industrial Bronze sectors. This is your chance to work on challenging, technical parts in a fast-paced, professional environment.

What You'll Do:

• Set, operate, and programme CNC Turning & multi-axis machines to exacting specifications.
• Work closely with your team to meet production deadlines and maintain exceptional quality standards.
• Apply your knowledge of fixtures, tooling, speeds & feeds, and programming to maximise efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN Manufacturing principles.
• Interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM data to deliver precision components.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience with CNC Turning & multi-axis machinery in high-spec, compliant environments.
• Competence in manual measuring tools, with CMM experience advantageous.
• Familiarity with FANUC, Okuma QSP-200L, ISO or Mazatrol programming is a plus.
• Knowledge of Victor, Hyundai, or Doosan lathes, live tooling, and CAD/CAM (SolidWorks, hyperMill) highly desirable.
• Apprentice-trained or with recognised Engineering Qualification (City & Guilds / HNC).
