Quality Coordinator
Location: Tiverton
Salary: £29,000
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7am to 4pm, Friday: 7am to 12pm
Our client, a well-established manufacturing business, is seeking a Quality Coordinator to join their Quality Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with experience in quality or manufacturing environments who is looking to develop their career within a structured and supportive team.
The Role
The Quality Coordinator will support the Quality Department in ensuring customer satisfaction, product compliance, and continuous improvement. The role involves coordinating complaints, managing returns, compiling KPI data, and supporting containment and inspection activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and follow up on customer complaints and investigations
- Compile and report weekly Quality KPI data
- Manage and coordinate all customer returns
- Inspect returned goods for suitability to return to stock
- Support containment and inspection of non-conforming parts as part of the complaints process
- Assist with general Quality Department administrative and operational tasks
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in a similar quality or manufacturing-based role
- Basic use of metrology equipment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Working understanding of ERP systems
- Awareness of ISO9001 standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working across departments and engaging with diverse stakeholders
