Production Manager - Fresh Food Manufacturing

Location: Basildon

Shift pattern: 10:30am - 6:30pm, Monday - Friday

Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE

A growing fresh food manufacturer is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead operations in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering nutritious, high-quality food for children.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader with a continuous improvement mindset who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and driving operational excellence.

The Role:

• Lead and manage daily production operations
• Ensure food safety, quality, and compliance standards are maintained
• Drive operational KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage and develop production teams and shift leaders
• Align production capacity with customer demand and ingredient supply
• Promote a strong health & safety culture

About you:

• 5+ years' management experience in FMCG food manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety systems, and BRC standards
• Proven ability to lead teams and improve operational performance
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
• Experience with Excel and ERP/planning systems
• HACCP / Food Safety certification
