Join a growing organisation where people are at the heart of the business.

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are delighted to be recruiting for a Talent Acquisition & HR Officer on behalf of a well-established and highly respected professional services organisation with multiple offices across Devon and Somerset.

This is an exciting fixed-term opportunity for an experienced recruitment or HR professional who enjoys building relationships, delivering an outstanding candidate experience, and supporting wider people initiatives. While the primary focus is talent acquisition, you'll also gain valuable exposure to a broad range of HR activities, making this an excellent role for someone looking to further develop their career within a supportive People Team.

The successful candidate can be based from any of the organisation's offices across Devon or Somerset, with hybrid working available. Occasional travel between sites will be required.

The Role

As Talent Acquisition & HR Officer, you'll take ownership of the recruitment process while supporting the wider People Team with a variety of HR activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from advertising vacancies and sourcing candidates through to offers and onboarding.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements and provide expert recruitment support.
  • Coordinating interviews, assessments and candidate communications, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Managing recruitment administration in line with GDPR and employment legislation.
  • Developing relationships with recruitment agencies, education providers and external organisations to support attraction initiatives.
  • Representing the business at careers fairs, schools, colleges, universities and recruitment events.
  • Maintaining and developing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) while supporting managers in its effective use.
  • Coordinating onboarding activities, including references, compliance checks and induction plans.
  • Supporting wider HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including leaver processes and employee relations administration.
  • Producing recruitment and HR reports, analysing data and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about recruitment, enjoys building relationships and thrives in a busy, people-focused environment.

Ideally you'll have:

  • At least one year's recent experience within recruitment or talent acquisition, managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proactive, positive and approachable attitude.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence producing reports and presentations.
  • The ability to analyse recruitment data and present findings clearly.
  • Previous experience within a professional services environment would be advantageous.
  • A recruitment qualification or CIPD qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • The ability to commit to the duration of the fixed-term contract.

What's on Offer

  • Fixed-term contract through to January 2028.
  • Competitive salary.
  • Flexible and hybrid working options.
  • Full-time hours with part-time applications also considered.
  • Annual salary reviews.
  • Generous annual leave increasing with service, plus bank holidays.
  • Healthcare cashback plan.
  • Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Pension scheme with enhanced employer contributions based on length of service.
  • Enhanced family leave.
  • Flexible benefits including Holiday Buy & Sell, Cycle to Work, Technology Scheme and Private Medical Insurance options.
  • A collaborative and supportive People Team.
  • Excellent opportunity to broaden your HR knowledge while specialising in talent acquisition.
