Parts Advisor - Multiple Locations

Location: Seaton / Exeter / Crediton / Bovey Tracey

Job type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm and every third Saturday 8:30am - 12:30pm

Salary: Dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join an established business within the automotive parts sector.

This is a varied role for someone with a good understanding of the motor trade who enjoys working with customers, suppliers and workshop teams to ensure the right parts are sourced and supplied efficiently.

You will be responsible for the smooth running of the parts operation, from identifying and sourcing parts through to ordering, receiving and supplying them to customers and wider business.

Responsibilities:

• Dealing with customers both dace to face and over the telephone, providing a friendly and professional service
• Identifying and sourcing the correct parts to meet customers and workshop requirements
• Ordering parts from manufacturers and suppliers
• Checking prices, availability and delivery times
• Processing parts orders accurately and efficiently
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure parts re delivered within timescales
• Receiving, checking and organizing incoming stock
• Maintaining accurate stock records
• Preparing parts for customer collection
• Supporting wider team with the day to day running of the business
• Working efficiently in a busy environment

About you:

• Previous automotive experience is essential
• Good knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle components
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to accurately identify and source correct parts
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a busy environment
• Confident and professional approach when dealing with customers and suppliers
