The Opportunity

Due to sustained growth, our client is seeking experienced Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives (3+ PQE) to join their well‑established Private Client team. You’ll work closely with colleagues across multiple offices, building meaningful client relationships and contributing to a department that is currently very busy and operating in a collaborative, “all hands on deck” environment.

This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys in person client contact, values teamwork, and wants to develop their career within a forward‑thinking firm.

Key Responsibilities

Managing a varied Private Client caseload, including:

• Wills and Powers of Attorney
• Probate and estate administration
• Tax planning
• Court of Protection matters
• Trusts and related advisory work
• Work typically includes a broad mix of probate, wills, LPAs, trusts and tax planning

• Delivering exceptional client care and maintaining strong professional relationships
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across offices to meet client needs
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk management requirements
• Demonstrating consistent fee earning performance
• Contributing to business development and departmental growth
• Supporting the wider team during peak workloads as part of a cohesive, supportive department

Who We’re Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 3+ years’ PQE
• Strong experience across a broad range of Private Client matters
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Ability to work harmoniously within a close knit team
• Confident managing a varied and busy caseload
• Enthusiastic about business development and contributing to departmental success
• STEP qualification or SFE membership is desirable, but not essential — training and support are available for the right candidate
• Willingness to travel to other offices when required to support client needs (South West based)
