Hours: Full-time, office-based (Mon–Thurs 8am–5pm, Fri 8am–3.30pm)

Commutable from Harrogate, Ampleforth, York, Thirsk, Boroughbridge

Are you highly organised with an eye for detail and a passion for technical problem-solving? We’re looking for a Purchasing & Technical Assistant to join our team in Helmsley.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting our purchasing function and assisting with technical requirements across the business. You’ll be joining a friendly and collaborative team where your skills will make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the purchasing team with supplier management, sourcing, and order processing
• Assist in preparing and reviewing technical documentation
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of materials and components
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures
• Provide technical support to projects as required

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in purchasing, supply chain, or a technical support role
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents/drawings (advantageous but not essential)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn
