Job description
I am getting in touch to introduce an experienced and highly adaptable accounts and finance professional who is seeking a new role in the North Yorkshire area. Living close to Masham, she is well placed for roles across Ripon, Harrogate, Northallerton, and surrounding areas.
With over 30 years’ experience in a wide variety of businesses – from small owner-managed companies to large multi-site organisations – she offers a wealth of knowledge in both financial and operational support functions. Her background includes general accounts, management accounts, payroll, credit control, VAT returns, stock control, and international trade.
Key strengths and experience include:
- End-to-end accounts management, including monthly management accounts, budgets, and KPIs.
- Proficiency in multiple systems including Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong VAT and statutory compliance experience, including UK and EU VAT returns.
- Hands-on experience in audit preparation and liaising with external auditors.
- Skilled in foreign currency transactions and forward contract bookings.
- Experience working in fast-paced, commercially driven environments.
She is available at short notice (likely less than one month) due to her current employer’s situation and is seeking a salary in the region of £33,000 per annum.
