Job description

Job Title / Sector: Associate Wealth Planner

Location: Blackpool

Notice period: 3 months

Salary expectations: £45K+

  • 25 years’ experience within financial services and wealth management, with extensive experience supporting Investment Managers within a leading UK wealth and investment management business.
  • Experienced in supporting private clients, families, charities and corporate clients, with a strong focus on delivering high levels of client service.
  • Extensive client onboarding and new business experience, including SIPPs, SSASs, offshore bonds, private clients, charities and corporates.
  • Strong knowledge of KYC, CDD, AML and regulatory requirements, including involvement in data remediation and AML projects.
  • Regularly liaises with clients, professional intermediaries, SIPP and bond providers, Investment Managers and internal departments.
  • Experienced in coordinating client meetings, KYC meetings, valuations, statements, documentation and post-meeting administration.
  • Handles client queries, payments, static data changes and account documentation with a strong focus on accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage a varied and high-volume workload, prioritising effectively and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience contributing to process improvements, systems reviews and wider business projects, including working collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams, alongside experience with a range of wealth and investment management systems including Pershing Nexus, Seismic, Pulse and InvestCloud.
  • CISI qualified & currently undertaking postgraduate study in Linguistics and Artificial Intelligence, demonstrating strong commitment to continued learning and development.
  • Interested in progressing her career further into wealth planning, financial planning and paraplanning, utilising her extensive existing wealth-management and client-facing experience.
