Job description
Job Title / Sector: Paraplanner
Location: Liverpool
Notice period: 1 month
Salary expectations: Negotiable
Paragraph detailing relevant skills, experience and if relevant, qualifications:
- 10+ years’ experience within IFA / financial services environments
- 3+ years’ dedicated paraplanning experience, supported by extensive IFA administration and report writing experience
- Currently working as a Paraplanner within an established financial advice firm
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Advice
- CeMAP 1, 2 & 3 qualified
- Strong technical experience across pensions, investments, protection and wider financial planning
- Experienced in preparing suitability reports, recommendations and client documentation
- Confident undertaking provider, product and investment research
- Strong experience with cash-flow forecasting, financial calculations, valuations and analysing costs, tax implications and risk
- Good understanding of compliance, file checking and regulatory requirements
- Regularly liaises with advisers, clients, providers and internal teams
- Previous experience acting as a key client contact, organising meetings and supporting advisers throughout the advice process
- Strong communication and client service skills, with a confident and personable approach
- Salary expectation: circa £42,000
